Hello, Denver!

I am Dr. Sahira Tapia

A purpose-driven and love-focused chiropractor dedicated to helping individuals tap into the energy and frequency of healing. Drawing from my Mexican heritage, I embody the spirit of determination and resilience, having always been expected to compete at the same level as everyone else, working twice as hard without shortcuts.

Growing up in a Mexican household, I derive strength from my father's grit and courage. His journey of leaving everything behind to start anew in a foreign country serves as a constant source of inspiration for me.

Fluent in the language, driven by a strong work ethic, and armed with charisma, I have conquered the education system and earned my title as a doctor of chiropractic. My journey as a first-generation Mexican migrant shapes my perspective and fuels my passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

I exemplify the drive needed for success. With unwavering determination and a deep commitment to my patients, I continue to inspire others through my remarkable achievements in the field of chiropractic care. Together, let's embark on a transformative journey to unlock your mind-body connection and enhance your overall well-being.

Care-plan Structures

What to Expect:

During your journey with us, your body will go through different stages of healing. Generally, musculoskeletal pain adapts more quickly to treatment, while pain caused by repetitive patterns tends to follow a circular healing process. Over the first 12 visits, your body will learn to differentiate between different types and sources of pain. It's important to note that chiropractic care is similar to a martial arts practice; it's an ongoing process, and basing healing solely on the absence of pain is unreliable. Following care plans is crucial as they help rewire your neurology and improve your nervous system function.

OUR Process of Healing

Phase 1:

Myofascial Adaptations

During this phase, your body receives external support through adjustments, similar to wearing a cast. We focus on reducing pain caused by minor traumas, postural stresses, old accidents, daily wear and tear, shoulder tension, back tension, transient low back pain, neck pain, headaches, and trouble sleeping.

Phase 2: Nervous System Regulation/Neuroplasticity

As pain starts to reduce, we transition to neurological adaptations and new movement patterns. The frequency of adjustments decreases as we encourage your body to adapt to stress on its own. Phase 2 reinforces the patterns learned in Phase 1, similar to practicing weightlifting with proper form. Dropping out of care at this stage is discouraged, as it hinders progress.

Phase 3:

Introspection & Awareness

After living pain-free for a significant period, you will gain a deeper understanding of your body. This phase involves developing self-awareness and learning to interact with the environment in a healthy manner.

While individual results vary, most people start feeling better around visit 6, experience improved function by visit 12, and develop mastery of their skills around visit 24. Healing timelines are influenced by various factors, and the investment of time and effort deeply depends on you.
